Cort basses from the Action DLX Plus series are basic instruments that offer sophisticated electronics and quality workmanship. The body of this bass is made of swamp ash with an open-pore finish. It is fitted with two PDX pickups, which, thanks to their sonic characteristics, cover a wide range of styles. The neck pickup is ideal for fingerstyle playing thanks to its solid midrange, while more aggressive players and slappers will find the pickup at the neck more suitable. Thanks to the MB-1 electronics from renowned Markbass, the bass offers both a passive mode, where a Master Volume and Blend control is available to mix both pickups, and an active mode, where the tone can be adjusted using the three-band EQ. Of course, the instrument's ergonomic shape and pleasantly light weight are also features.
