Alder Body With Spalted Maple Top
Solid Alder body provides a perfectly balanced tone while giving a slight boost on high-mid range. It’s one of the most ideal tone woods for solid body basses of major bass makers since the 1950’s. The Spalted Maple (veneer) adds a unique visual appeal to the instrument with its natural patterns. Cort GB-Fusion 5-string bass embodies a timeless classic, blending the punchy midrange of a solid hard Maple neck with the warm, rich tones of Rosewood, a combination revered by legends and aficionados alike.
Voiced Tone VTB-ST Pickups
The new Voiced Tone Jazz-style single-coil pickups perfectly complement the big robust acoustic sound of the bass with modern clarity, transparency and vintage warmth. Painstakingly developed by Cort’s engineers by drawing on decades of pickup winding experience, the Voiced Tone pickups feature the highest-grade components and winding techniques to allow the natural character of the Cort GB-Fusion 5-string bass to be faithfully delivered to the amp. The Luminlay side dot position markers make it easy for players to see the fretboard position when performing on dark stages.
